Annual Attestation
Each Board Director and Committee member have reviewed and signed the
following attestation.
This attestation is given in accordance with Rule 29 of the Credit Union Rules (2023 Revision).
As a member of the Board, the Credit Committee, or Supervisory Committee of the Cayman Islands Civil Service
Association Co-operative Credit Union Limited, by my signature I attest that I understand my responsibilities and
oversight requirements outlined in the Rules and the Board or Committee Operational Manuals.
I attest that to the best of my knowledge:
1. I am a 昀椀t and proper person as de昀椀ned under the Cooperative Societies Act (2020 Revision) and as such have been
approved by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (“CIMA”);
2. I have not breached any Policies, Procedures, Rules and Acts and any other regulatory requirements as administered
by CIMA;
3. I have not contravened the Credit Union Rules nor the Cooperative Societies Act or any other legislation;
4. I have not contravened any internal Policies which apply to me as an elected of昀椀cer;
5. I undertake to place the best interests of the Credit Union above personal and associated interests in accordance
with the Credit Union’s Con昀氀ict of Interest Policy;
6. I will faithfully perform my duties and comply with the con昀椀dentiality obligations required of me relating to members’
transactions and any other information deemed pertinent by the members and elected of昀椀cials.
7. I have read and will comply with the requirements and obligations as outlined in the Code of Conduct;
8. I have completed the requisite annual training;
9. I am a member in good standing, in accordance with the Credit Union Rules; and
10. I have not engaged in or been associated with any other business practices or otherwise behaved in such a way as
to cast doubt on his competence and soundness of judgment.
